Abstract
Disease signal is encoded in indicator fidelity rather than differential abundance, with 125 disease-associated and 36 health-associated MAGs identified (3.5:1 asymmetry). Disease-associated guilds included Roseiarcus, Myxococcota predators, and DPANN/CPR parasites, supporting a pathobiome model of distributed ecological reorganisation.
