Abstract
Two functionally distinct predatory clades identified: Palsa-1150 (motile sugar acquisition) and JADGRB01 (sessile biofilm predation). The endosphere imposes significantly stronger purifying selection on JADGRB01 (pN/pS = 0.247 vs bulk soil 0.401). Health status has no detectable effect on selection pressure.
